Day 6
After enjoyed the beauty of the scenery of the lake again this morning, we
then rushed back to Leh. But on the way back, we stopped at several
famous monasteries here. The first monastery that we visited is Hemis
monastery, which is very famous that Dalai Lama will come here every year. I
recommend you to enter the monastery from the right door near the toilet because
you don’t have to pay for the entrance fee, but so bad that I myself realized about this after I’d paid the
fee which was a bit expensive I think. After that we went to Stakna Monastery
and Thiksey Monastery. I found nothing special at the Stakna Monastery, but I found Thiksey
Monastery is a very interesting place because it resembles the famous palace in
Lhasa, Tibet. Yepp, its architecture just looks like the Potala Palace.
หลังจากชื่นชมความงามของทะเลสาบแปงกองกันแล้ว วันนี้เราก็จะกลับไปยังเมืองเลห์ แต่ระหว่างทางเราก็แวะไปดูวัดต่างๆในลาดักกันนะครับ ถ้าใครไปที่วัด Hemis แนะนำให้เดินไปทางด้านขวามือนะครับ จะเป็นทางไปห้องน้ำ ซึ่งถ้าเข้าทางประตูทางไม่ต้องเสียค่าเข้า อิอิอิ กว่าจะรู้ก็เสียไปแล้วหลายบาทเหมือนกัน

After strolled around these monasteries, we went back straightly to Leh and
checked in at another hotel which is a lot cheaper, but offered a better wifi
than the previous hotel we stayed.

Day 7
Morning guys! Today was the last day for the Heaven on earth trip in Ladakh,
India. There are two places left in Leh that we haven’t visited yet and they
are Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. The first place we visited was Shanti Stupa
which is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa and it
was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu (monk).
วันนี้เป็นวันสุดท้ายของทริปสวรรค์บนโลกแห่งอินเดียเหนือแล้วนะครับ ซึ่งในวันนี้เราจะมาเก็บสถานที่เที่ยวในเลห์ที่เรายังไม่ได้ไปเที่ยวอย่างเป็นทางการกันนะครับ ที่แรกที่เราจะไปเที่ยวคือ Shanti Stupa

After enjoyed the fascinating 360 degree view of Leh city from here, we then
moved to Leh Palace which was the last stop for our trip in Ladakh. Don’t expect
anything grand from here because it doesn't look like the palace in your imagination, but it's still uniquely beautiful in its own way. However,
the the most amazing thing here is that Thai people could buy cheap ticket at the same rate like
Indian citizen because Thailand is the member of the organization related to
the Buddhist religion, so Thai people could get cheap entrance fee at many
places in India such as Taj Mahal.
ชืนชมวิวเมืองเลห์แบบ 360 องศาแล้ว เราก็จะไปเที่ยวที่สุดท้ายของเราในวันนี้กัน นั่นก็คือพระราชวังเลห์ ซึ่งตอนนี้ได้กลายเป็นพิพิทธภัณฑ์ไปแล้ว ไม่ต้องคาดหวังว่าจะสวยอะไรมากนะครับ เพราะถูกสร้างมาด้วยดิน ไม่ได้มีความสวยงามหรูหราเหมือนพระราชวังทั่วๆไป แต่ที่พิเศษสุด คือ ราคาตั๋วเข้าชมสำหรับคนไทยถูกมากครับ แต่จำไม่ได้แล้วว่าเท่าไหร่ แค่แสดงพาสปอร์ตไทยของเราไป เราก็จะได้ตั๋วราคาถูก ไม่ใช่เฉพาะที่เลห์เท่านั้นนะครับที่อื่นๆในอินเดียก็เช่นเดียวกัน เช่น ค่าเข้าทัชมาฮาล เป็นต้น เพราะว่าไทยเป็นสมาชิกอะไรสักอย่างนี่แหละเกี่ยวกับศาสนาพุทธ ถ้าจำไม่ผิดนะ ก็เลยมีสิทธิพิเศษเหมือนคนอินเดีย

It’s the lunch time now, so we went back to the bazaar to have lunch there and
in the evening we went out again to buy some souvenirs and our autumn trip in Ladakh
has finally come to an end. Good night for now and see you again tomorrow in
New Delhi. Bye!!!
เที่ยวเสร็จแล้วก็กลับมาพักผ่อนที่โรงแรม ตอนเย็นๆก็ออกมาหาอะไรกินที่ Leh Bazaar เหมือนเคยพร้อมกับช๊อปปิ้งของฝากเล็กๆน้อยๆ และสำหรับทริปสวรรค์บนโลกแห่งอินเดียเหนือก็จบลงเพียงเท่านี้ พรุ่งนี้เราจะกลับบ้านกันแล้วครับ
Day 8
Today was the last day for us in Leh before going back home. If you want to
get to the airport, please find the taxi yourself because it costs only 300
rupee, but if you ask the hotel staff or let them arrange for you, they would
charge you more than that. But if you think that you’re fine with it, it’s up
to you because I don’t like people take advantage of me even though for a few
cents. Our flight did stopover at the airport in New Delhi and we still had time for the whole afternoon, so we spent 6 hours in the capital city and don’t forget
to leave your luggage at the luggage store room on the upper level of the metro
station opposite the airport, the price is not expensive, go on and use it.
Then, we had lunch here before went down to the metro station to get into the
city. Today we planned to visit many places here; Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India
Gate and Connaught Place, but we only went to Jama Masjid and Red Fort which is
located near the Jama Masjid metro station. We couldn’t stay here any longer
because I really couldn’t bear the chaos of the people here, plus the hot
weather that made me lost positive energy to go anywhere else. So, after visited
these two places, we decided to go back directly to the airport.
เช้านี้เป็นเช้าสุดท้ายที่เลห์ ก่อนที่เราจะบินกลับบ้านนะครับ ถ้าจะไปสนามบินเลห์ให้ไปโบกแท๊กซี่เองนะครับ ราคา 300 รูปีเอง ถ้าให้ทางโรงแรมหาให้เค้าจะบวกอีกร้อยถึงสองร้อยรูปี ไฟลท์เราจะแวะที่นิวเดลีก่อน เราก็ยังพอมีเวลาเที่ยวอีกครึ่งวันในเมืองหลวงอินเดีย ถ้าอยากจะฝากกระเป๋าก็ให้ไปฝากได้ที่รับฝากกระเป๋าซึ่งจะอยู่ในตึกตรงข้ามกับสนามบินแถมราคาไม่แพงครับ ฝากเสร็จแล้วก็ลงไปที่สถานีรถไฟใต้ดินด้านล่างได้เลยครับ และที่ๆเราไปก็คือ Jama Masjid กับ Red Fort เพราะอยู่ใกล้ๆกัน จากสถานีรถไฟนิวเดลีให้ซื้อตั๋วมาลงที่สถานี Jama Masjid ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ระหว่างสองที่นี้ แต่ตอนซื้อตั๋วที่สถานีรถไฟวุ่นวายมากครับ ตอนแรกอยากไปที่ India Gate กับที่อื่นๆอีก แต่บอกตรงๆว่าไม่ไหวจริงๆ เหนื่อยกับเมืองนี้มาก ก็เลยตัดสินใจเที่ยวแค่สองที่แล้วกลับสนามบินเลย

At last, our trip to the Heaven on earth in North India,
Ladakh only, has
come to an end and it’s time to go back to a working life again. Thanks a lot for

What
I impressed most throughout the trip in Ladakh was the beauty of the nature
here which I couldn’t express it in words, you have to experience yourself, that's all.
ความประทับใจเกี่ยวกับทริปนี้ คือ ความงามของธรรมชาติที่นี่ที่บรรยายเป็นคำพูดไม่ได้ ความงามของมันเปรียบเทียบไม่ได้เลยกับสิ่งที่เราเห็นผ่านรูปถ่าย ต้องไปเจอไปเห็นเองถึงจะรู้ แค่นี้แหละ
ชาวลาดัก (Ladakhi)
Personally,
I think Ladakhi people are nice like I read from many blogs before, but of
course nothing is perfect in this world and here I did came across two tricky people, one is
Ladakhi and the other one is Indian. The new driver on the second day who
drove us for the whole trip tried to cheat on us on the way to Nubra Valley
which really upset us. We’d paid cash in advance to the HM in Leh for
everything; the car with the driver, permits and hotels, but before we
reached the Nubra Valley, the driver asked us where to stay tonight and we were a bit
amazed by that question because everything’s been settled from the first day
and the HM must've already told him where to live in Hunder and Pangong Lake. We
asked him to call the HM and he tried to avoid it by saying that the network
wasn’t fine and blah blah blah. We didn’t really enjoy our time when we were at
Diskit Monastery and the sand dunes because we didn’t know what to do next if
he really cheated on us, until now I’m still fed up with this wicked guy. On
the way to the hotel, we saw he looked at a piece of paper in his hand while
driving (I think it was the name of the hotel here) and we almost crashed the cow
crossing the road and at last he sent us to the hotel pretended that didn't know the way to the hotel. And one more time on the way
back to Leh before we visited Hemis Monastery, he stopped at the restaurant
nearby for lunch and he told us “this one”. Actually, we didn’t want to have
lunch at this place because form outside it looked dirty, and it’s really dirty
inside with flies flying around. Then, we waited for a long time to get the
menus we ordered which we didn’t hear any cooking sounds from the kitchen, but
only saw the guy walking in and out, so I think they might get the food from
other place for us. And yes, I was right, I saw that guy unpacked the food from a
plastic bag and we didn’t enjoy the food at all, plus the price was higher than
it said in the menu and he said that that was the old menu. Before we left the
place, my buddy told the guy that “this is the worst restaurant ever that
we’ve been to in Ladakh”, but he looked puzzled, maybe he didn’t understand
English. We felt really bad when we looked at other better restaurants nearby.
โดยส่วนตัว รู้สึกว่าผู้คนที่ลาดักก็โอเคนะ แต่ก็มีบ้างที่เจอคนที่ไม่น่ารักเท่าไหร่ ยกตัวอย่างเช่น คนขับรถที่พยายามจะหลอกเราเกี่ยวกับโรงแรมที่ Nubra Valley ทั้งๆที่เราจ่ายค่าโรงแรมไปแล้วให้กับผู้จัดการโรงแรมที่เลห์ ซึ่งราคาก็สูงพอควรถ้าเทียบกับราคาที่เราจองเอง วันนั้นคนขับถามว่าเราจะพักที่ไหน เราก็งง เห้ย เราจ่ายตังค์ไปแล้วนะ ผู้จัดการน่าจะบอกคนขับรถเรียบร้อยแล้วก่อนมา แต่เราก็ไม่เชื่อหรอกนะว่าผู้จัดการโรงแรมไม่ได้บอกเค้าเกี่ยวกับเรื่องที่พัก ก็เลยให้เค้าโทรไปหาผู้จัดการ แต่คนขัยรถก็พยายามเบี่ยงบอกว่าสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ไม่ดีบ้างอะไรบ้าง บอกตรงๆเลยว่าตอนนั้นไม่แฮปปี้เลย คิดตลอดเวลาว่าจะมีปัญหาอะไรก็เกิดขึ้นหรือป่าววันนี้ สุดท้ายก็เห็นคนขับแอบดูโพยกระดาษที่มีชื่อโรงเเรมถ้ามองไม่ผิดนะ จนเกือบไปชนวัวที่ตัดหน้ารถ สุดท้ายเราก็ไปถึงที่พักจนได้ บอกตรงๆว่าตอนนั้นเริ่มไม่แฮปปี้กับคนขับเลย ตอนกลับจากทะเลสาบก็พาเราแวะไปที่ร้านอาหารที่แย่สุดๆ รอเราอาหารนานนนนนมาก และไม่ได้ยินเสียงทำกับข้าวในครัวเลย เห็นแต่พ่อครัวเดินเข้าเดินออก ตอนนั้นก็คิดในใจแล้วว่าเค้าต้องไปซื้อที่อื่นมาแน่เลย สุดท้ายเป็นอย่างที่คิดจริงๆด้วย แล้วคิดราคาแพงกว่าในเมนูอีก สุดท้ายก่อนที่ออกจากร้านก็ได้บอกกับคนที่มาเก็บตังค์ This restaurant is the worst (ร้านนี้ห่วยแตกที่สุดที่เคยกิน)
One more person that tried to fool us is an old Indian guy at the new hotel
we stayed in Leh. On the last morning while we were having free breakfast, we
asked him to call the taxi for us which last night the hotel owner said that it
costed 400 rupee (100 rupee for him), so we were okay with that since he was
frank enough. But this morning, this old guy said that it costed 500 rupee for
the taxi and we tried to be fine with the price he offered. But the thing that
we really couldn’t accept was that he tried to cheat us about the breakfast. He
said that it costs 150 rupee each which the breakfast was already included with
the hotel fare. We think this old man was too much, so we decided to call the
taxi by ourselves which costed 300 rupee and told the owner what this guy did to
us. Few rupees weren’t the problem for us at all, we could give tip to him, but I
don’t like the way he tried to fool us in everything he could. So, don’t
believe if anyone told you that everyone here is nice until you experience it
by yourself, seeing is believing!!!
ส่วนอีกคนที่เราไม่พอใจเท่าไหร่ก็คือคนงานที่โรงแรมในวันสุดท้ายที่เราที่เลห์ เป็นคนอินเดียที่ไม่ใช่ชาวลาดัก คนๆนี้พยายามจะหลอกเราตอนจะกลับบ้าน เราให้เค้าเรียกแท๊กซี่ให้ เค้าบอกว่า 500 รูปีนะ แต่เมื่อวานเจ้าของโรงแรมบอกว่า 400 แต่เราก็เออๆไม่เป็นไร 500 ก็ 500 แต่มันไม่ได้หยุดแค่นั้นครับ ยังมาบอกว่าอาหารเช้าที่เรากินอยู่ ต้องจ่ายคนละ 150 ทั้งๆที่ค่าอาหารเช้ารวมอยู่ในค่าที่พักแล้ว เราก็เลยบอกว่าไม่ต้องเรียกแท๊กซี่ให้แล้วนะ ส่วนเรื่องอาหารเช้าเดี๋ยวไปคุยกับเจ้าของเอง สุดท้ายก็ได้บอกกับเจ้าของโรงแรมว่า โรงแรมของน่าอยู่นะ แต่เพราะพนักงานห่วยๆของคุณมันทำให้ที่นี่ไม่ค่อยมีคนมา น่าเสียดายมาก ตลอดทั้งทริปก็มีแค่สองคนนี้แหละที่ทำให้เราไม่ค่อยประทับใจ ตอนที่อ่านรีวิวก่อนมาเที่ยว มีแต่คนชมว่าคนที่นี่จิตใจดี แต่ก็นั่นแหละครับ สิบปากว่าไม่เท่ากับตาเห็น Nothing is perfect
อาหาร (Food)
Throughout our trip here, we did eat the food we brought from our country and
many times we also had Indian food or Ladakhi food, which looks like Chinese food I think,
at the restaurant. As a Muslim traveler, don’t worry about the food here, there
is one halal restaurant that we went to at the Leh Bazaar, you would notice it from its Islamic
signboard, but it's opened before sunset only. However, you can try other restaurants as well since
Ladkahi people don’t consume pork, beef and alcoholic drinks. My most favorite
menus here were Indian curry rice, fried mee and momo which is looks like
Chinese dumpling and overall the taste is acceptable for us.
อาหารที่นี่ก็มีทั้งอาหารอินเดียและอาหารที่คล้ายๆอาหารจีน ทิเบต หน้าตาของคนที่นี่ก็เหมือนชาวทิเบตก็เลยคิดว่าคนที่นี่ดั้งเดิมน่าจะมาจากทิเบต พระกับวัดวาอารามก็เหมือนในทิเบต อาหารที่นี่ก็เลยเหมือนกับอาหารทางฝังจีนทิเบต อาหารที่นี่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผักและไก่ เนื้อกับหมูนี่ไม่มีให้เห็นเลย เมนูที่ชอบกินมากก็คงไม่พ้นข้าวแกงกะหรี่อินเดีย หมี่ผัด แล้วก็โมโม่ซึ่งคล้ายๆกับเกี๊ยวจีน รสชาติโดยรวมก็พอกินได้

Most Ladakhi are Tibetan Buddhist, some are Hindu and few Shiah and there is
one Shiah mosque in the middle of Leh Bazaar.
โดยส่วนใหญ่ คนที่นี่จะนับถือศาสนาพุทธแบบทิเบต ฮินดู และชีอะห์ ที่กลางตลาด Leh Bazaar มีมัสยิดชีอะห์ตั้งตระหง่านอยู่ด้วย

ค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งทริป (Expense)
The expense for the whole trip in Ladakh is 25000-28000 baht each,
cheap or expensive depends on how many places you visited and the price of the
hotel you stayed, you could manage it. At last but not least, I wish that everyone could
be here one day because its beauty will leave you speechless and worthy risking
yourself to the high altitude to experience the feeling of the Heaven on earth once in a lifetime.
