Day 6
Ohaiyokosaimasu! Morning guys, the time now is 6 a.m. in the morning and we almost arrived our next destination, Kawaguchiko Lake. It felt like we just went to sleep few minutes ago and now we nearly reached Mt. Fuji and the lake, what a lovely ride. Although we slept on the bus for the whole night, it didn't feel like sleeping on the bus at all, it was so smooth that we didn't wake up in the middle of our journey, even once. So, I recommend you guys to take a night bus to this place which is a lot cheaper than other transportations and the bus will send us to Kawaguchiko railway station which is the last stop for the bus.
Ohaiyokosaimasu ครับทุกคน และแล้วเช้านี้เราก็มาถึง Kawaguchiko กันแล้วนะครับ รู้สึกเหมือนกับว่าเพิ่งหลับไปเมื่อกี้นี่เอง ตื่นมาอีกทีก็ถึงซะแล้ว ถึงจะนอนบนรถบัสแต่บอกได้เลยว่าหลับสบายมากกก ตลอดทางมานี่ไม่ได้ตื่นกลางทางเลย รู้สึกตัวอีกทีก็ใกล้ถึงจุดหมายปลายทางของทริปเราในวันนี้แล้ว รถบัสจะมาส่วเราถึงหน้าสถานีรถไฟ Kawaguchiko เลยนะครับ

In Kawaguchiko, we stayed at Hotel Camelot for 2 nights. Actually, there are many hotels around this station, but we prefer this hotel. From the staion, we walked to the hotel with the map in our hands, few minutes later here we were at Hotel Camelot. However, we can't check-in yet because it was too early, so we left our luggages at the reception counter. This hotel doesn't have a private bathroom, so we had to take a shower in the Onsen room and this was our first time experience this in Japan. It was really akward at first, but then we slowly got used to it and we tried to use it when no one there. One more thing that we like about this hotel is that we could enjoy the free snacks and drink in the common room with the amazing view of Mt. Fuji in front of us, I think that we couldn't get anything like this at other hotels at such a low price.
ถ้าเห็นรถไฟแบบนี้ก็แสดงว่าเรามาถึงแล้วนะครับ และที่นี่เราจะเข้าพักที่โรงแรม Hotel Camelot กัน 2 คืนนะครับ ว่าแต่จะไปโรงแรมยังไงละ งงงงสักพัก สุดท้ายเราก็เดินไปตามแผนที่ๆเตรียม จริงๆแล้วแถวๆสถานีรถไฟก็มีโรงแรมมากมายนะครับ แต่เราถูกชะตากับโรงแรมนี้มากกว่า เดินหลงไปสักพักนึงก็ถึงแล้วครับ แต่ว่ายังเข้าพักไม่ได้เพราะยังเช้าอยู่ แต่ว่าสามารถฝากกระเป๋าที่เคาน์เตอร์ได้ ที่โรงแรมไม่มีห้องน้ำในตัว ก็เลยต้องอาบที่ห้องออนเซนแบบรวม ตอนแรกๆก็อายมากครับ ไม่ชิน ก็เลยพยายามไปอาบตอนที่ไม่มีคน ฮ่าๆๆๆๆ 😅😅😅😅 ที่ชอบอีกอย่างนึงของที่นี่คือ มีห้องคอมมอนรูมที่สามารถมองเห็นภูเขาไฟฟูจิแบบใกล้ๆมากเลย แถมยังมีขนมนมเนยไว้บริการฟรีอีกด้วย ถ้าไม่มาพักที่นี่ก็ไม่รู้จะว่าไงแล้วครับ

After got the infornation about the transportation around this place from the
receptionist, we walked back to the railway station again to get "Retro
Bus 2 Days Pass" which costs 3200 yen if I'm not mistaken and we could get on the bus as many rides as we pleased within 2 days. It took us only 1 stop to the hotel from the station and vice versa. There are 2 color buses: Red and Green. The red one only runs around Kawaguchiko Lake and there are several interesting places on this route, so get ready to be packed on the bus. The latter one only runs around Saiko Lake which ddin't really attract us, so very few people take this route. Since we couldn't check-in yet, so today we took the red bus to travel around Kawaguchiko Lake. When you the buy the tikcet, you also will be given the route map, so you could know where to stop for your desire place. Let's go enjoy the ride!!!
หลังจากสอบถามข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับระบบขนส่งของที่นี่จากพนักงานแล้ว เราก็เดินกลับไปยังสถานีรถไฟอีกครั้งเพื่อซื้อตั๋วรถ Retro Bus แบบสองวัน ราคา 3200 เยนถ้าจำไม่ผิดนะครับ ซึ่งสามารถขึ้นได้ไม่จำกัดครั้งในระยะเวลาสองวัน รถบัสนี้จะมีสองสีด้วยกัน คือสีแดงกับสีเขียว รถบัสสีแดงจะวิ่งรอบๆทะเลสาบ Kawaguchiko ซึ่งเป็นเส้นทางที่คนนิยมไปกันมาก ดังนั้นคนอัดกันเป็นปลากระป๋องเลย ส่วนคันสีเขียวจะวิ่งรอบๆทะเลสาบ Saiko ซึ่งเป็นเส้นทางที่คนไม่ค่อยนิยมไปเท่าไหร่ คนเลยไม่ค่อยเยอะแต่ก็ไม่ค่อยน่าไปจริงแหละครับ ไม่ค่อยมีอะไรที่เราสนใจเท่าไร 😎😎😎 ไหนๆก็ยังเข้าพักไม่ได้ก็เลยออกตระเวนรอบๆทะเลสาบ Kawaguchiko กันก่อน ถ้าจะกลับไปที่โรงแรมก็นั่งรถไปแค่ป้ายเดียวเองครับ ถ้าซื้อตั๋วมาแล้วเราก็จะได้แผนที่มาด้วย จะได้รู้ว่าสถานที่ไหนต้องลงป้ายไหน สะดวกมากๆเลยครับ งั้นเราไปแว้นกันเลยครับ 🚌🚍🚎

After took the bus ride around the lake, we then came back to Kachi Kachi Ropeway bus stop. Here you can take a boat tour in the lake or take a cable car to the Kachi Kachi mountain. We thought that going up to the mountain is more worthwhile, so we decided to take the cable car even though there was a long queue, but we had plenty of time left. Neverhteless, we only bought 1 way ticket to the top because we would like to walk down the mountain on the way back and it didn't take a long time to reach. If you don't want to pay for the cable car, I think you can go up and down from the back of the mountain and many local people did that. 😎😎😎
เที่ยวรอบๆทะเลสาบเสร็จแล้ว เราก็นั่งรถย้อนกลับไปที่ป้าย Kachi Kachi Ropeway กันต่อ ซึ่งที่นี่เราสามารถนั่งเรือล่องทะเลสาบหรือจะขึ้นกระเช้าไปชมความงามรอบๆ Kawaguchiko ก็ได้ครับ ซึ่งเราเลือกที่จะขึ้นกระเช้าเพราะรู้สึกว่ามันน่าจะคุ้มกว่า แต่ว่าคนต่อคิวเยอะมากก ก็ต้องรอนานหน่อย แต่ไม่เป็นไรเพราะเรามีเวลาเหลือเฟือ เราซื้อตั๋วแค่ขาขึ้นขาเดียวครับเพราะขากลับเราจะลองเดินลงไปทางด้านหลังเขา จริงๆแล้วก็ไม่ได้ไกลมากครับ ถ้าจะขึ้นลงทางนี้ก็ไม่เลวนะครับ ประหยัดดี อิอิอิ

It was almost lunch time now when we walked down the mountain, so we bought Briyani rice from Halal Indian Restaurant nearby the bus stop and then we went back to the hotel. After that, in the afternoon we went out again to feel the fresh air around the lake and bought some stuffs from the nearby supermarket.
ตอนนี้ก็เที่ยงกว่าๆแระ ไปหาอะไรทานดีกว่า แถวๆนั้นมีร้านอาหารอินเดียฮาลาลด้วยนะครับ เราก็เลยซื้อข้าวบรียานีมากินกัน แล้วก็รอรถกลับไปเช็คอินที่พักกัน่อน ตอนเย็นๆก็ออกไปเดินเล่นแถวที่พักกับไปซื้อของกินในซุปเปอร์แถวๆนั้น มีของกินมากมายเลย

Day 7
Good morning the seventh day guys! Today was our second day here in Kawaguchiko, but today it seemed that Mt. Fuji was a bit shy to show his full face becasue the top of the mountain was partly covered by the clouds, but it didn't affect our today's plan to visit the beautiful Chureito Pagoda. We went ther by taking the Fujikyu Railway Line from Kawaguchiko station to Shimo-Yoshida station and it took us about 10 minutes to reach there. After that, we walked a long the crowd about 5 minutes to reach the gate to the Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the hill, so we had to climb up a bit, but the view up there is worthy hiking up. GO!GO!GO!
Morning everyone! วันนี้เป็นเช้าวันที่สองของเราที่ทะเลสาบ Kawaguchiko แล้วนะครับ แต่วันนี้ดูเหมือนภูเขาไฟจะขี้อายกว่าเมื่อวานนิดหน่อย มีเมฆปกคลุมตลอดทั้งวันเลย แพลนของเราในวันนี้ก็คือเราจะไปเที่ยวเจดิย์ Chureito กันครับ เราจะเดินทางด้วยรถไฟ Fujikyu Railway Line ให้ไปขึ้นรถไฟที่สถานีรถไฟ Kawaguchiko แล้วไปลงที่สถานี Shimo-Yoshida นั่งประมาณ 10 นาทีก็ถึงแล้ว พอถึงสถานีแล้วก็ให้เดินตามผู้คนไปเรื่อยๆนะครับ ใช้เวลาประมาณ 5 นาทีก็จะถึงทางขึ้นไปยังเจดีย์ ซึ่งเจดีย์จะตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขานะครับแต่ก็ไม่ได้สูงมาก

ชื่มชมความงามบนนี้เสร็จแล้ว เราก็จะกลับไปที่ทะเลสาบอีกครั้ง วันนี้เราจะทัวร์รถบัสสีเขียวกันต่อนะครับ โดยจะไปทาง Saiko Lake พอถึงสถานีรถไฟ Kawaguchiko ก็ให้ไปนั่งรถบัสสีเขียวกันเลย คนไม่เยอะครับสำหรับสายนี้ ดูจากแผนที่แล้วไม่ค่อยมีสถานที่ๆน่าสนใจเท่าไหร่จริงๆ เราก็เลยตัเสินใจไปแค่ที่เดียว ซึ่งลืมไปแล้วว่ามันคืออะไร ฮ่าาาา เหมือนจะเป็นหมู่บ้านโบราณอะไรสักอย่างนี่แหละ ตอนที่ไปก็ไม่ค่อยสวยเท่าไหร่เพราะว่ายังมีสภาพแห้งแล้งของฤดูหนาวอยู่ ถ้าไปสายๆกว่านี้ก็คงสวยแหละครับ

After that, we went back to have lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon we went out to stroll around the Kawaguchiko Lake again for a short time only because the cold wind was so strong...
เสร็จจากที่นี่เราก็นั่งรถกลับไปหาอะไรกินที่โรงแรมกันก่อน แล้วตอนบ่ายๆก็ค่อยออกไปเดินเล่นแถวทะเลสาบ Kawaguchiko อีกครั้ง แต่วันนั้นหนาวมากครับ ลมแรงเหลือเกิน อยู่ได้แป๊บเดียวก็กลับโรงแรมละ

Day 8
Good morning everyone! Today was our last day in Japan and this morning we moved to another city before we finished our Hanami trip in Kansai (even though we had left Kansai 3 days ago). After checked out, we went to the railway station by the hotel's van. Today we took the
Kintetsu bus to Shinjuku station (booked online) and while waiting for the bus, we saw Thai actress with her family and we took the same bus and she sat on the seat in front of me, LOL!!!! It took us about 1 hour and a half to reach Shinjuku station. Then, from Shinjuku we took a train to Yokohama which is the port city not far from Tokyo. After we reached the station, we took the city map for free at the tourist information and then we left our luggages at the coin locker.
The staff from the tourist information told us to take the metro to Minatomirai, but we had studied how to explore this city since before we came to Japan, so we decide to walk around the area on foot because it's not far from the station. Plus, there are many things to see along the way. We kept walking until we saw this gorgeous building.

Kintetsu จากสถานี Kawaguchiko เพื่อไปยังสถานี Shinjuku ใช้เวลาประมาณชั่วโมงครึ่ง อันนี้เราจองออนไลน์มาจากเมืองไทยนะครับ พอถึง Shinjuku แล้ว จากนั้นก็นั่งรถไฟต่อเพื่อไปยังจุดหมายปลายทางของเราที่ Yokohama ใช้เวลาไม่นานเราก็มาถึงสถานีรถไฟ Yokohama แล้วครับ พอมาถึงที่นี่ก็ไปขอแผนที่ๆศูนย์การท่องเที่ยวเมืองนี้ก่อนนะครับ แล้วก็ไปฝากกระเป๋าที่ล๊อคเกอร์
เจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์การท่องเที่ยวแนะนำให้เรานั่งรถไฟใต้ดินไปลงที่สถานี Minatomirai แต่เราเองก็ศึกษาข้อมูลมาพอสมควร เราไม่นั่งครับแต่เราจะเดินไป เพราะว่ามันไม่ได้ไกลมากและระหว่างทางก็ยังสามารถเดินดูอะไรอีกมากมาย เราไม่นั่งใต้ดินเลยทั้งขาไปและขากลับ พอออกจากสถานีรถไฟก็เดินตามแผนที่ไปเรื่อยๆเพื่อไปยัง Minatomirai เราจะเจอตึกดีไซน๋เก๋ๆแบบนี้ก่อน

Before continued our exploration here, we stopped at the Yokohama Wolrd Porters first for our noon prayer. There is a prayer room provided here, what you have to do is go straight to the information counter and say that you'd like to use this facility, then you have to fill the form and the staff will give you the password to enter the prayer room. There is no place for wuduk inside the room, so we had to do it in the toilet behind the prayer room. After that, we continued our short journey in this port city. Apart from Kobe, Yokohama is another important port city in Japan which opened to the foreign trade in the middle of 19th century amd many foreign merchants settled here. The China town here is the biggest and the cleanest in the world (I didn't say this LOL 😅😅).
ก่อนอื่นเราจะไปที่ห้าง Yokohama World Porters กันก่อนเพื่อไปละหมาดครับ ไปหาเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เคาน์เตอร์แล้วบอกเจ้าหน้าที่ว่าเราจะมาละหมาด แล้วเจ้าหน้าที่ก็จะให้เรากรอกข้อมูลนิดหน่อยพร้อมกับบอกรหัสผ่านของห้องละหมาด แต่ห้องละหมาดไม่มีที่อาบน้ำละหมาดนะครับ ต้องไปอาบที่ห้องน้ำที่อยู่ด้านหลังห้องละหมาด ละหมาดเสร็จแล้วเราก้ไปตะลุย เมืองท่าที่สำคัญอีกแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศญี่ปุ่น Yokohama ก็เหมือน Kobe ครับ จะมีเขตที่พักอาศัยของชาวต่างชาติในสมัยที่ญึ่ปุ่นเพิ่งประเทศใหม่ๆ นอกจากนั้นก็ยังมี China Town ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในญี่ปุ่นและเป็นชุมชนจีนที่สะอาดมาก

We really had a joyful time here for the whole day and now it's time to walk back to the station and took a train to Haneda Interantional Airport and this marked that our hanami trip in Kansai had officially ended here. Throughout the trip, we mostly stayed at Japanese apartment because the price is a lot reasonable than hotels and we got everything we needed, especially for Muslim travllers who need the kitchen to prepare our own halal meals. You can check out
airbnb.com Nowadays, we've heard a lot about negative news of bnb, but from my own experince through this trip, I stayed at 3 different places in 3 cities for 4 nights happily and nothing bad happened, importantly the owners are all nice. So, make sure that you book the place with high marks only, don't find the cheapest one, but find the most reasonable one.

Since we're Muslim, so it's a bit hard for us to find halal food in Japan and many of halal food only provided in the expensive hotel which is not suitable for a budget traveller like us.

For the whole trip plus the airfare, we spent around 28000-29000 baht which is incredibly cheap for 8 days trip in Japan. We didn't buy any shinkansen ticket or Kansai pass because it doesn't suit our plan, so we could save a lot of the budget. For sure, the tour agencies can't give you a trip like this with this low price.
