Jullay! Hello everyone, after my last spring trip to Turkey in late April 2017, I couldn’t wait any longer to start planning my next expedition in this coming autumn season to Ladakh which is also known as the Heaven on Earth in North India for its amazing scenery. Actually, I’ve already planned this trip since last year and wished to go there last April, but my travel buddy just got a new job, so we couldn’t make it together at that time of the year. Eventually, the trip was cancelled and I changed my direction from India to Ottoman land, Turkey.
Jullay!!! สวัสดีครับทุกคน หลังจากไปเที่ยวตุรกีดินแดนสองทวีปในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ผลิเมื่อปลายเดือนเมษายน 2017 เราก็ไม่รอช้าที่จะวางแผนเพื่อไปเที่ยวสวรรค์บนโลกแห่งอินเดียต่อ นั่นก็คือ LADAKH ที่อินเดียเหนือช่วงปลายฤดูใบไม้ร่วง จริงๆแล้วเราจะไปเที่ยวที่นี่ช่วงที่ไปตุรกี แต่เนื่องจากมีปัญหาทางเทคนิคนิดหน่อยก็เลยเลื่อนมาที่นี่ช่วงปลายเดือนสิงหาถึงต้นเดือนกันยายน
Before getting to this high altitude city which is located over 3,500 meters above sea level, we needed to prepare ourselves well because it might harm our lives. The most important thing that we need to do is finding the DIAMOX pill which can protect us from the high altitude sickness. It was very hard to get this pill since it’s one of the controlled pills, so we couldn’t find it at any pharmacy stores. However, we at last could order it online from the drug warehouse in Bangkok and the price was incredibly cheaper that we thought. We should take this pill at least 2 days prior our journey starts, half pill in the morning and another half in the evening and take it every day for the whole trip and if possible, bring your own oxygen can just in case of any emergencies which happened to my buddy during the trip.
ก่อนที่จะไปเยือนดินแดนที่อยู่เหนือระดับน้ำทะเลกว่า 3,500 เมตร เราก็ต้องเตรียมตัวให้พร้อมก่อนนะครับ ไม่อย่างงั้นอาจจะเกิดอันตรายถึงชีวิตได้ สิ่งที่เราควรเตรียมมากที่สุดก็คือ ต้องกินยา Diamox เพื่อขึ้นไปที่สูง ยานี้หายากหน่อยนะครับ ไปหาตามร้านขายยาหรือคลีนิคก็ไม่มีเพราะเป็นยาควบคุมพิเศษ สุดท้ายเราได้ยามาจากคลังยาที่ กทม ลองกูเกิ้ลดูนะครับ ราคาไม่แพงเลย ยานี้ควรกินก่อนไปประมาณ 2 วัน เช้าครึ่งเม็ดและเย็นครึ่งเม็ดและกินยาติดต่อกันจนหมดทริป แค่นี้ก็สามารถไปเที่ยวสวรรค์บนโลกได้อย่างสบายใจแล้วครับ

Day1
I always start my journey from Malaysia, since it’s near my house and the flight ticket here is much cheaper than flying out from Thailand. This time we flew with Malindo Air to New Delhi and then flew with Indian low cost airlines, Go Air, to Leh Airport in Ladakh. When we arrived at the terminal 3 of Indhira International Airport, we had to go to the E-visa counter first to get our passport stamped with India Visa for 3 months and then collected the luggage before we moved to Terminal 1D, which is used for the departure of the low cost airlines, by a free shuttle bus outside the airport. You just need to show the ticket of the flight you just flew and the ticket that you will fly to your next destination to the shuttle bus staff outside the airport and prepare yourself well for the bus because its condition was a bit scary.
วันแรก เริ่มเดินทางจาก Kota Bharu ไป Kuala Lumpur แล้วนั่งเครื่องไปที่นิวเดลี เราเดินทางจากมาเลเซียเพราะว่าใกล้บ้านครับ สะดวกดีและราคาก็ถูกกว่าเมืองไทย พอถึงสนามบินนิวเดลี Indira International Airport ก็ต้องทำวีซ่าก่อนเข้าเมืองนะครับ ซึ่งเราได้ e-visa มาแล้วจากไทย แต่ก็ต้องกรอกข้อมูลอีกนิดหน่อย พอรับกระเป๋าเสร็จก็ไปแลกตังเลยครับที่นอกสนามบิน จากนั้นเราต้องเปลี่ยนไปอีกเทอร์มินัล เนื่องจากว่าเรานั่ง Go Air ไปเลห์ ก็เลยต้องไปต่อเครื่องที่ Terminal 1 D การเดินทางจากสนามบิน Indira International Airport ไปยัง Terminal 1 D สามารถนั่งรถบัสฟรีนะครับ แต่ต้องเอาหางตั๋วกับตั๋วที่จะบินไปเลห์ให้กับพนักงานที่อยู่นอกสนามบิน เดินออกไปเดี๋ยวก็เจอป้ายครับ แต่ต้องบอกก่อนเลยนะครับว่าสภาพรถบัสคือแบบว่า ฮ่าๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ ต้องไปเจอเองครับ รับรองว่าอินเดียแน่ๆ
Day2
After waited for the next flight at Terminal 1 D for the whole night, this morning we were ready to fly to Leh, but wait!!! Our flight was cancelled wihout getting any notices from the airlines (maybe we didn't have India sim card?), but fortunately we could fly there with the next flight, thanks GOD! So you guys must be careful and always check the flight information at the check-in counter.
หลังจากรอมาที่สนามบินมาทั้งคืน เช้านี้ก็ได้เวลาบินไป Leh แต่ว่าเราไม่ได้บินตามเวลาที่เราจองนะครับ เนื่องจากว่าไฟลท์ที่เราจองนั้นถูกยกเลิกโดยที่เราเองก็ไม่ได้รับเมล์หรือข้อความเกี่ยวกับการยกเลิกไฟลท์นั้นจากสายการบินเลย โชคดีที่เราไปเช็คเวลาบินบนหน้าจอแถวเคาน์เตอร์เช็คอินก่อน ไม่อย่างงั้นบรรลัยแน่ๆ แต่โชคดีที่เรารู้ตัวก่อนเลยไปบอกพนักงานสายการบินและเค้าก็ให้เราไปไฟลท์ถัดไป ก็โอเคครับ สายนิดเดียวดีกว่าไม่ได้ไป
After landed at Leh Airport, we must fill the registration form near the exit first before got into the city. At first we were afraid of the high altitude sickness, so we didn’t move quickly, but then we felt that it was fine to move normally and it wasn’t as scary as we thought.
พอถึงสนามบิน Leh ก็ต้องทำการลงทะเบียนเข้าเมืองก่อนนะครับ กรอกโน่นนี้เสร็จถึงจะออกไปจากสนามบินได้ ตอนอยู่ที่สนามบิน Leh ก็มีอาการกลัวๆความสูงที่นี่เหมือนกันครับ เพราะกลัวว่าจะหมดสติอะไรงี้ พยายามทำอะไรช้าๆ แต่ผ่านไปสักพักนึงก็รู้สึกว่ามันไม่ได้น่ากลัวอย่างที่คิด ก็เลยทำตัวปกติ อิอิ
Then we took a prepaid taxi outside the airport which costed 300 rupees and we paid to the head of the taxi drivers I think. This is the fixed rate for taxi from the airport to city center and vice versa, so don’t worry that you would be deceived by them. I don’t recommend you to let the hotel arrange the taxi for you because they would charge you more, at least 500-600 rupees and don’t worry that there would be no taxi for you, more than 20 taxis are waiting for the customers outside.
พออกจากสนามบินก็หาแท๊กซี่เลยครับ ที่สนามบินมีแท๊กซี่แบบ prepaid นะครับ เป็นการจ่ายเงินล่วงหน้า ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะโดนหลอกนะครับ เพราะราคาโดยสารที่นี่เรทเดียวกันหมดครับ ตอนนั้นคันละ 300 รูปี ไม่แพงครับ และไม่ต้องให้ทางโรงแรมจองนะครับ เพราะว่าเค้าจะคิดแพง อย่างต่ำก็ 500 รูปี และไม่ต้องกลัวว่าไม่มีรถนะครับ มีรถรอคิวยาวเลยครับ
When we arrived at the hotel, we must fill the registration form again, you have to register everywhere you stay. After we kept our stuffs in the room, we then came to meet the hotel manager (HM) to discuss about our trip plan and asked him to manage the car with driver, hotels and permits to the restricted areas, Pangong Lake and Nubra Valley, which border to Tibet in China and Pakistan respectively. However, I don’t recommend you to ask the HM to do this because there are agencies nearby that can arrange everything for you with a lower budget. If you would like to manage your own trip plan and the budget for the car with the drvier, you can check the latest taxi rates on this website.

When we arrived here, we were told to stay in Leh first to get acclimated to the high altitude. After got some rest, we then went out to the Leh Bazaar which is the center for everything that you need, there are many tour agencies, shops and restaurants, so we came here every day to fill our stomach.
มาถึง Leh วันแรกก็แนะนำให้พักผ่อนก่อนนะครับ ยังไม่ต้องรีบไปเที่ยวไกลๆ เพื่อให้ร่างกายเราปรับสภาพกับความสูงของที่นี่ก่อน พักสักหนึ่งวันแล้วค่อยออกไปเที่ยวไกลๆ พักผ่อนเสร็จแล้ว เย็นๆก็ออกไปเดินเล่นที่ตลาด Leh Bazaar กัน เป็นตลาดที่อยู่ใจกลางเมือง มีร้านรวงต่างๆมากมาย ส่วนใหญ่เราก็มาช๊อปปิ้งมาฝากท้องกันแถวนี้ละครับ
After checked this area out for some time, we then saw the signboard to the Leh Palace which is located up high on the hill. Actually, you shouldn’t walk up to the higher place in the very first day, but we did and it was really exhausted that we stopped every few steps. But then we decided just to stop in the middle of the way because the Sun was ready to set and I think we couldn’t climb up any more, so we went back to the bazaar to have dinner. It was a very long journey for us today, so it’s time to sleep now, good night and see you again tomorrow for another exciting journey.
เดินดูบรรยากาศเส็จแล้วก็ลัดเลาะไปเรื่อยๆ จนเห็นป้าย Leh Palace ก็เลยแวะเดินขึ้นไปที่ Leh Palace สักหน่อย แต่ก็ขึ้นไปไม่ถึงหรอกครับเพราะเหนื่อยง่าย เดินขึ้นเขาไปนิดเดียวก็สามารถดูวิวจากมุมสูงของที่นี่ได้ละ ก็โอเคสวยดีนะครับ พอตะวันใกล้ตกดินก็เดินกลับไปหาอะไรกินที่ตลาดเหมือนเดิม กินอิ่มแล้วก็กลับไปพักผ่อนก่อนที่จะออกเดินทางต่อในวันพรุ่งนี้
Day 3
After breakfast, the car and the driver was ready outside the hotel, so our Ladakh trip now officially began. The first stop for today was the Magnetic hill, here all kinds of vehicles can move without starting the engine because the magnetic around this hill will move the vehicles, isn’t it amazing? And then we moved to our second stop at the confluence of Zanskar & Indus which is the place where two rivers, Zanskar & Indus, meet here.
ตื่นเช้ามา กินอาหารเช้าเสร็จก็ออกเดินทางกันเลยครับ วันนี้เราจะไปหลายที่มากครับ ที่แรกที่เราแวะก็คือ Mangetic Hill เป็นเนินเขาแม่เหล็ก รถทุกคันที่มาถึงที่นี่ก็จะดับเครื่องยนต์กัน แล้วรถมันก็เคลื่อนไปเองครับ เพราะเขาบอกว่าที่นี่มีแม่เหล็กดึงรถไป ทั้งๆที่ทางข้างหน้าเป็นทางขึ้นเนิน ก็แปลกดีนะครับ หลังจากนั้นเราไปกันต่อที่ Confluence of Zanskar & Indus เป็นหุบเขาที่มีแม่น้ำสองสายมาบรรจบกัน นั่นก็คือแม่น้ำซันสการ์กับแม่น้ำสินธุ
Then, we set off to another faraway place which is known as the land of Moon
because of its landscape which looks like the surface of the moon. Be prepared
to get dizzy since the road in Ladakh is curved and at some places you need to
horn at every corner.
สถานที่ต่อไปที่เราไปก็คือ Lamayuru หรือที่ใครๆก็เรียกว่า Land of Moon เพราะที่นี่มีลักษณะภูมิประเทศเป็นเขาและพื้นผิวของมันก็ขรุขระเหมือนกับผิวดวงจันทร์ก็เลยเป็นที่มาของฉายาดินแดนแห่งพระจันทร์
ตอนบ่ายๆก็ไปที่ Alchi Monastery กันต่อ ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างทางกลับไปที่ Leh พอดี วัดที่นี่ก็ไม่ได้สวยพิเศษอะไรมากมายนะครับ แต่ที่เราชอบที่สุดคือบรรยากาศธรรมชาติหลังวัดสวยดีครับ เดินไปตามป้าย Indus River View ก็จะพาเราไปพบกับสิ่งนี้ครับ
And the last place that we visited on the first day in Leh was Spituk Monastery which is located near the airport. You need to go up the stairs a bit, but the view at the top was so fantastic, it’s worthy climbing up the hill.
และที่สุดท้ายที่เราจะไปในวันนี้ก็คือ Spituk Monastery ซึ่งอยู่ใกล้กับสนามบินเลห์ครับ เดินขึ้นบันไดเหนื่อยหน่อยนะครับ แต่วิวสวยมากนะครับ ถึงเหนื่อยแต่ก็คุ้มครับ
Today we’ve been to many great places and seen the amazing views that we’ve never seen before in life. Now it’s time to have a good rest again and tomorrow we’ll leave Leh to the more fascinating places. Good night & see ya!!!

After checked this area out for some time, we then saw the signboard to the Leh Palace which is located up high on the hill. Actually, you shouldn’t walk up to the higher place in the very first day, but we did and it was really exhausted that we stopped every few steps. But then we decided just to stop in the middle of the way because the Sun was ready to set and I think we couldn’t climb up any more, so we went back to the bazaar to have dinner. It was a very long journey for us today, so it’s time to sleep now, good night and see you again tomorrow for another exciting journey.
เดินดูบรรยากาศเส็จแล้วก็ลัดเลาะไปเรื่อยๆ จนเห็นป้าย Leh Palace ก็เลยแวะเดินขึ้นไปที่ Leh Palace สักหน่อย แต่ก็ขึ้นไปไม่ถึงหรอกครับเพราะเหนื่อยง่าย เดินขึ้นเขาไปนิดเดียวก็สามารถดูวิวจากมุมสูงของที่นี่ได้ละ ก็โอเคสวยดีนะครับ พอตะวันใกล้ตกดินก็เดินกลับไปหาอะไรกินที่ตลาดเหมือนเดิม กินอิ่มแล้วก็กลับไปพักผ่อนก่อนที่จะออกเดินทางต่อในวันพรุ่งนี้

After breakfast, the car and the driver was ready outside the hotel, so our Ladakh trip now officially began. The first stop for today was the Magnetic hill, here all kinds of vehicles can move without starting the engine because the magnetic around this hill will move the vehicles, isn’t it amazing? And then we moved to our second stop at the confluence of Zanskar & Indus which is the place where two rivers, Zanskar & Indus, meet here.
ตื่นเช้ามา กินอาหารเช้าเสร็จก็ออกเดินทางกันเลยครับ วันนี้เราจะไปหลายที่มากครับ ที่แรกที่เราแวะก็คือ Mangetic Hill เป็นเนินเขาแม่เหล็ก รถทุกคันที่มาถึงที่นี่ก็จะดับเครื่องยนต์กัน แล้วรถมันก็เคลื่อนไปเองครับ เพราะเขาบอกว่าที่นี่มีแม่เหล็กดึงรถไป ทั้งๆที่ทางข้างหน้าเป็นทางขึ้นเนิน ก็แปลกดีนะครับ หลังจากนั้นเราไปกันต่อที่ Confluence of Zanskar & Indus เป็นหุบเขาที่มีแม่น้ำสองสายมาบรรจบกัน นั่นก็คือแม่น้ำซันสการ์กับแม่น้ำสินธุ

สถานที่ต่อไปที่เราไปก็คือ Lamayuru หรือที่ใครๆก็เรียกว่า Land of Moon เพราะที่นี่มีลักษณะภูมิประเทศเป็นเขาและพื้นผิวของมันก็ขรุขระเหมือนกับผิวดวงจันทร์ก็เลยเป็นที่มาของฉายาดินแดนแห่งพระจันทร์

In the afternoon, we went to Alchi Monastery, which is
located on the way back to Leh. This monastery wasn’t really attractive for us, but
what really attracted us here was the Indus river behind it. We really enjoyed the
view at the river bank but so bad that not many tourists came to this peaceful
place. There is the signboard that leads you to the river, so just follow it.

And the last place that we visited on the first day in Leh was Spituk Monastery which is located near the airport. You need to go up the stairs a bit, but the view at the top was so fantastic, it’s worthy climbing up the hill.
และที่สุดท้ายที่เราจะไปในวันนี้ก็คือ Spituk Monastery ซึ่งอยู่ใกล้กับสนามบินเลห์ครับ เดินขึ้นบันไดเหนื่อยหน่อยนะครับ แต่วิวสวยมากนะครับ ถึงเหนื่อยแต่ก็คุ้มครับ

Today we’ve been to many great places and seen the amazing views that we’ve never seen before in life. Now it’s time to have a good rest again and tomorrow we’ll leave Leh to the more fascinating places. Good night & see ya!!!
